This is the book that I’m currently reading “The Silva Mind Control Method”.
I was reminded that I had this book in my study room by my neighbour, Beng See. Beng See is also pretty much into law of attraction stuff. She has been a meditator for years and is a self taught healer in her own right. A family friend, she knows the books that I have in my study room better than me. How come? Many of the books were bought by my mother-in-law who passed away about 2 years ago. (Essentially, my study is a goldmine filled with many books but barely touched by my husband and I.) My mother-in-law had also attended the Silva workshop in Singapore to learn about its techniques.
I’m only at the beginning chapters but I can say that this book is powerful stuff. The first part is a quick history about how Jose Silva came to develop the Silva method. It shares about how Jose, a very ordinary person, experimented with his own kids, and eventually others about using mind control techniques to improve test scores. It then goes on tell you how to “creatively visualize” so that what manifests can come true.
The Silva Method thus, is based on a philosophy that you become what you think. So, if you have a negative self-image, then you become that person in the real world. To change your negative self image, you need to access your mind.
The book (or Jose Silva) teaches you how to go to your “alpha level” (a semi-conscious dream state), create a positive self-image, and turn it into reality. You can also access the “alpha level” to increase your intelligence, improve your memory, develop ESP, heal your injuries and disease, and also heal others.
I believe this book is essential reading for all those who are keen to find out more about how to make the law of attraction work for them.
