To start generating positive energy, it is important that you feel a sense of gratitude.
When you feel gratitude and a sense of appreciation, you tend to emit positive feelings about things. Your emotions do not get clouded by anger and negative thoughts.
Take for instance, if you feel a sense of appreciation for your family. Their support and love means a lot to you. By generating positive energy, you would be surprised that they are also more positive towards you. Even in the event that they should do something that angers you, you are aware that it is not the person but the thing that frustrates you.Â

Related to sustaining positive feeling is transmuting or releasing negative feeling, which I believe is best achieved by committing acts of kindness, random or otherwise. The sense of hope and trust that comes from kindness, when married to a sense of gratitude, will likely put you into a state of flow that runs into (and through) the land of abundance.
